26 Sep UPDATE – Gill Dell Presentation & AGM 27 September

A big thankyou to everyone who attended the excellent presentation by Gill Dell. It was extremely informative and generated lots of questions and discussion. It was great to see a number of new faces as well as our regulars. We were able to have open and frank discussions around sensitive topics which just shows the value of local support groups. I’ve added below the link to the video that was played as part of the presentation.

Those of you that were able to stay for the AMG will have a better understanding of what we have achieved during the past 12 months and some of the plans we have for the future as we enter our 25th year next year of supporting men and their families in Torbay and the surrounding area.

Hope to see as many of you as can make it to our meeting tomorrow, Wednesday 27th September at the Livermead House Hotel Torquay, arrival from 10 for 10.30 start. Gill Dell, Torbay Lead Urology Clinical Nurse Specialist, has agreed to talk about how hormone therapy works & also some mechanisms for coping with the side effects.

At approximately 11.30 we will have a break to help ourselves to coffee & biscuits, we will then have our brief AGM, which we anticipate lasting no longer than 30 minutes. This will give us the opportunity to review what has been going on during the past year and plans for the year ahead.
