Parliamentary Petition reaches 100,000 target

Sunday was a big day in the fight for a screening programme. Thanks to wonderful supporters like you, our official parliamentary petition reached 100,000 signatures.

This means Parliament must now consider our petition for a debate for a national screening programme for prostate cancer. We have supportive MPs ready to ask ministers hard questions based on our own science and research about the decision.

We’re also pushing for an update on the ‘live model’ of, so that when new evidence emerges we can move quickly to press for change. Just this weekend, news about delays to reviewing critical new evidence for the Stockholm3 blood test made front page headlines.

Thanks to your support and the incredible pressure we were able to rapidly muster, the government has informed us that this review will now start this autumn, rather than in 2027.

Whether you signed, shared, cheered it on, you were part of it. This is what a community can do when it refuses to stay quiet and rallies behind a collective goal. Thank you for helping to make this happen.
