11 Nov New Social Media Platform “My Tribe” Launch

Many of us have had contact with Gill Dell from the Oncology Department at Torbay Hospital, either through their treatment or at one of our Supporters meetings. Below is the text of an email we received from her asking for feedback from our supporters before the launch of this new social media platform.

This is the launch of a new patient social media platform for cancer patients that my nephew has created, sadly he passed away this year to a very rare cancer at the age of 40. His wife has launched his legacy today, it needs some patients to use it and have a look at it before it goes live officially. Could you share amongst the group or with any patient groups you network with and share in the cancer world, any feedback would be appreciated. For those that visit the site, register and sign in, they will be sent an email from the web design lead for feedback, he is also going to add a feedback link on the website too, hopefully towards the end of November.
