Medicine for Members – Urology Talk

Medicine for Members – Urology Talk

Those of you that attended the online Urology presentation by Seamus MacDermott will know just how excellent it was. For those not able to attend below is the link to the recording. There was a problem with the Q&A and there was an interesting question posed re ongoing PSA tracker testing. I believe Exeter have decided to stop doing follow up testing at around 3 years and that it can be up to 10 years later that PSA levels can increase. Seamus then talked about GP surgeries doing the testing, but that now many of them don’t want to/it isn’t included in their contract, potentially increasing the burden on hospital trusts. I understand currently Torbay have 2,500 guys on their tracker system.
